Buttermilk Panna Cotta
Ingredients
- 1 T. water
- 1/2 envelop unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. cream
- 1/2 t. lemon or lime zest
- 3 T. sugar
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 t. vanilla extract
Instructions
- Soften gelatin in water in small dish.Spray 4 small custard cups with nonstick spray. Heat cream, zest, and sugar in medium sauce pan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally til sugar dissolved. Increase heat and bring to low boil. Add gelatin.Cook to lukewarm, stirring often. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Divide among custard cups. Chill, about 4 hours.
