The synergy of living in a diverse community glowed this week on the NextDoor platform.
The poster said she was a “Chinese people” and wanted practice to improve her English. She wanted to speak “fluidly” and with an American accent. She would pay for help.
Up popped a reply from a neighbor, asking if the poster spoke one form of Chinese. At least that’s what I think she said, as the language was described in Chinese characters.
Bingo!
The two matched up to chat in two different languages, to their mutual benefit.
